I did this piece for an application.
I started with this sketch
I inked out the sketch but started the official piece on watercolour paper as my background was going to be watercolour
Overall I feel like maybe there is too much watercolour. Either the piece should be slightly bigger or I should've been less heavy handed with the paint.
After the ink an creatures were in and it moved to completion. I feel a little better about the watercolour, however I do still feel that it is a little too dark

Next time, I won't be afraid to start over if I don't like the end product.
