Kictor Contract - Logo and Merch Design
Brief : Design some merchandise designs for youtube channel. Related to client concept and youtube content
Created with a design team (Spirehouse Studio). I spearheaded the illustrations and hand designs and contributed creatively with the designers doing the typography designs.

Rationale : Designed with Client keywords and concept in mind. The red string of fate connecting the hands and letters in each design represents the clients social media content in a personal and illustrated manner.

After multiple hand pose sketches, choosing a vertical and horizontal design to take further, after a few rounds of feedback the client. She wanted a clean but still dynamic line style. Using only greyscale brings out the red string, highlighting it as the main focal point. The client wanted a feeling of intimacy, tension and connectivity to be communicated through the illustrations.
The typography design also had to have the red string of fate as a through line for the designs. The typography also had to evoke feelings of relatability and structure. A fine line to walk.

This project was a tight timeline due to the client hoping for a holiday release. The project completed on schedule and merchandise has been live for all December 2021 currently
